Sorry to bother you guys but is this essay good

My ELA teacher gave us an  essay with our packet

 

and i want to see what you think of mine. It is an argument against making bicyclists needing permits to ride:

Dear Mayor of New York City,
It has come to my attention that you are considering a new law that would require all bicyclists to have permits if they want to ride on the streets. I feel that there are several problems with this law that must be properly examined before making your decision.
One of them is the fact that it is illegal to ride your bike on the sidewalk anyway. So that would mean anyone who rides a bike would need a permit. That would mean less people riding bikes than there are today since there would be another barrier in a system built to exclude bikes. Bikes were used in roads before cars were but the system eventually evolved to exclude them. Does age of the rider matter in this case? If the law truly means anyone and everyone does that mean kids four or five years old are required a permit when they probably don’t even know what the word means or what a permit is? I hope not. In this instance a license and a permit are essentially the same thing. Drivers are required a license because driving is a dangerous and difficult thing to do. Biking, however, is neither. Some people argue about bicyclists paying their fair share but most bicyclists are drivers who pay their due for the roads and accidents that happen on them. Here is a fun fact: You don’t need a license to get pulled over for traffic violations. The bicyclists get pulled over enough without a license. Requiring bicyclists to have a permit is like requiring pedestrians to pay a toll to use the sidewalk.
In conclusion, it is highly illogical to do this. If you feel offended by any statement I made I am sorry about that but that is just how I feel about the topic.

5.Gems- I have a bunch of very rare items and i’m told i can’t combine any more
